One of my friends was about to get wedded soon and I was looking for a suitable wedding gift for him. I asked a lot of people for opinions and got wedding gift ideas that were lame and mundane. These are ideal for the advanced gardener who has worked with these tools before. These are also expensive and may cost around $100 or more.

Ease of use

If the person you are gifting it to is not as comfortable working with tools, then gift him a tool set that is easy to use. Apart from ease of use, it also must be easy on the body.
