Your outdoor lighting options

Once you are through with planning your outdoor heating you will need to provide adequate landscape lighting which can include floodlights, in ground lights, path lights, lanterns and torches or spotlights. An alternative energy option is solar powered landscape lights so that you can save on energy bills.

Outdoor spotlights are quite popular for accent lighting. You can use LED spotlights that are long lasting. For more ambient lighting outdoor floodlights are more suitable. These can be portable floodlights, which are electric floodlights or rechargeable floodlights. Options for task lighting are outdoor tabletop lighting in the form of solar tabletop lights, electric tabletop lights and holiday tabletop lights for special occasions. If you would rather go for outdoor lanterns and torches, you have garden lanterns like electric table lanterns, hanging electric lanterns, propane lanterns and camping lanterns that can be put away after use. Many people go in for electric torches as patio torches all over the landscape for only those areas needing to be lit. For emergency torches, you can always keep one that runs on oil so that you do not depend on electricity.
