You can also build a fire pit or a backyard pit at the back of your home. Some people just opt for the occasional campfire to enjoy some great outdoor cooking and the smoky flavor as they lounge and relax on their patio furniture.

The main advantage of outdoor fireplaces is that they extend your season outdoors – and you can enjoy cool evenings outside when a lot of people would have just preferred to stay indoors. Outdoor fireplaces are also great for cozy get-togethers with your family, regardless of whether it is winter or summer or most likely the holidays.

Whichever type of outdoor fireplace you go in for though, don’t forget the covers. Outdoor heating covers are a must if you want to maintain your heater well. Chiminea covers are readily available online, and so are firepit covers. When not in use, they can collect dust and debris and a cover helps avoid this, also saving you the cleaning part.
