Much better than the original ceramic bars Mar 05, 2010
Much better than the original ceramic coated bars. Easy to clean and non-corrosive. Wish they originally came with the grill.

This is my third set of flavorizer bar on my 8 year old Sprit 500.
I decided to go with the stainless steel bars because
my burners look almost new (they are stainless steel).
I do 'rotate' the bars every few months to keep them clean and
burn off any residue to help extend their useful life.

I got tired of replacing the ceramic-covered iron flavorizer bars every year. These, although more expensive, do a good job and do not "rot." Definitively worth the price.

these are very good replacements after my old ones rusted out. just watch out. it seems that a lot of the dimensions of these bars are wrong on amazon. this specific ad says they are 25.5" but they are really 21.5" which is what i needed. i would suggest first visiting the weber grill site to find the exact model number you need, then go by that when you order from here.
