Weber 2290 rotisserie does not work with Charbroil 22.5" Kettle Grill Nov 17, 2008 I bought the Weber 2290 Rotisserie to use with my 22.5" Charbroil Grill. I bought the Charbroil instead of the Weber because of the shelves on each side of the grill and I liked it very much. Since the Weber 2290 Rotisserie does not fit my Charbroil 22.5" Kettle Grill I now own a Weber One Touch Gold(along with my Weber 18" Silver) so that I can cook my Thanksgiving turkey on the 22.5" and the Acrorn Squash on the 18".
At first glace it appears to be a well designed item, but I won't know first hand until Thanksgiving.
I've had Turkey cooked on the Weber One Touch before(so I know they are delicious) but never using a rotisserie until this year.

What type of power adapter is it ? Oct 10, 2008 I am trying to find this information everywhere but can't find it. Can't find any actual unit in the stores to check.
Can anybody tell me if the power adapter support both 110V and 220V ?
If someone can check their power adapter it is written on the input, either 110v or 110v-220v just like laptop, cell phones and other device
adapter
thank you

weber rotisserie Sep 15, 2008 Works sufficiently, but it did not fit correctly and rocked back and forth. (I wedged a pebble under it.) Also, I messed with the balance weight during most of the cook time and gave up. The motor seemed to work a little harder the same time of every revolution where ever I put the balance. No matter, except for possible wear and tear on the motor, the chicken came out great!

Weber Rotisserie Aug 28, 2008 At $3.75/gal for gas sure beats driving around looking for this product. Local vendors didn't carry and if they did the price would have been more. Had slight problem with the tabs supporting ring on kettle not being weilded evenly ... but a call to Weber sent a replacement on its way the next day!!!!! Great addition to my BBqing indeavors ... have already grilled a turkey, ribs, brisket and chicken all done to perfection!!! Thank you Amazon.com!!!!! Larry S.

Weber 2290 Rotisserie Review Aug 04, 2008 Get one of these if you like GREAT effortless cooking. This rotisserie unit could make your other grills or methods obsolete. No kidding I have never cooked 2 chickens at once or had grilled chicken turn out so perfect. Cook time about 2 hours. I cooked a 10 pound Turkey, it turned out fabulous. Perfect for Pork roast and Game Hens also. My rotisserie repertoire keeps growing.
I also purchased the Weber 9600 Char-Basket Charcoal Fuel Holders for use with the 2290 rotisserie, a very good combination. The charcoal burns evenly, predictably, very clean and might even reduce your cooking time.
In addition you should get a chimney type charcoal starter. They are worth it if for one reason you need any stinky starting fluids.
Don't hesitate any longer get one of these Weber 2290 rotisseries while you can and get cooking!
