Great grill, great service Sep 28, 2009 This grill offers excellent power and flexibility and has a very attractive and high quality appearance. Its six main burners each have very good (not quite excellent) searing power, and the rotisserie accessory produces excellent results. The v-shaped "flavorizer" bars are well positioned over the burners to help minimize (but not eliminate) flare-ups. The thick steel rod grates leave generous grill marks on the food and can be nearly non-stick when scraped clean and seasoned with oil after pre-heating. The Grill-Out lights are a nice touch and provide aquequate light to cover the grilling surface. When discussing Weber's strengths, you can't forget to mention their truly outstanding customer service. You can reach them easily by phone, their customer service representatives are knowledgeable and helpful, and they ship out replacement parts when other companies would say "that's past warranty, you will have to pay". For example, the Weber cover that I purchased for this grill ripped at the seams after only 16 months. No questions asked (after verifying I had the serial number) they are shipping me a new cover free of charge.
My complaints are limited and are far outweighed by the strengths. First, with the smoker attachment at the right side of the grill, I find that unless I shield the interior with aluminum foil to redirect the smoke, the smoke just runs up the right side of the grill, making minimal contact with the food on the grill. Second, if I forget to put the grill cover on before it rains, the rain is likely to get into the grill and flood the drip pan. That's a mistake you won't make too often!
Almost perfect Weber S-650 Jul 07, 2009 The Weber S-650 is the best grill I've owned. It is the third weber I've purchased. My last weber is 18years old. Weber's quality and parts support has been the best. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the decal, for the lighting and propane instructions, on the inside of the lefthand door, is on upsidedown.
weber S-650 -excellent!!! May 17, 2009 The Weber S-650, is a grillers dream!!! 60,000 btu's, a pop up rotissierrie, built in lights for late night grilling along with plenty of cooking surface easily makes this one of the best Weber has to offer. Evive Home was magnificent in their handling of this order. I would highly recommend them for future buyers!!

Great Grill May 12, 2009 This grill is everything as advertised. Very easy to set-up, took about a 1/2hour. Heat is very good and controllable, only issue so far is the smoker run hot, have to watch it or burn through chips too fast. Rotiserie works great.
Company that sold the unit, evVive Home delivered on time, no damages to grill or shipping box.
Very happy with it and would buy again from evVive Home.

Leaks water into grease pan Nov 29, 2008 I have the Weber summit 670 - great for cooking, but very poorly designed. If the grill is not covered, it will leak water into the grease pan and fill it up in one day. If there's grease in it, it too will leak all over your deck, or wherever it is. I specifically avoided the Kenmore because of this issue, and WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THE WEBER if I knew this was going to be a problem. For the money this costs, it should not leak like this. Weber was very defensive about their faulty design, and said I should remove the grease pan after each grilling, and place it on the cooking surface so the water can run right through - nice.
