The Toro bypass pruner has a drop-forged aluminum body and a blade made of high carbon sword steel--which is precision ground for top cutting. It has ergonomically shaped handles with TPR (thermo plastic rubber) coating for a non-slip grip and a patented new two-position lock for smaller handle spread. It also has patented center oiler bolt technology for ease of maintenance of the tool, allowing for continuous lubrication during operation. The pruner has a 1-inch cutting diameter and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Good hand bypass clippers Jun 12, 2007 I probably would never pay $40 or $50 for hand clippers as I have not yet achieved a high income bracket, but I found these on sale somewhere for $20, and for that price they are great.

Toro Pruners Jan 18, 2007 My husband is an avid Kansas bird hunter. He uses pruners to clip wings for quick and easy cleaning of the pheasant, quail, dove and prairie chicken. The Toro's are great for cutting thru these small bones.
