 Unconditional Lifetime warrany more hassle than its worth Nov 17, 2008
While Swan sells it's hoses with a lifetime warranty trying to use it is another story. The warranty requires you send in the original receipt, UPC barcode and the ends from the damaged hose.
This summer my Swan hose sprang a hole near the hose end. Not having the original receipt and barcode. I bought what I thought was a new Swan hose the same mode as my defective one. I mailed at my own cost the old hose ends with the new receipt and barcode. Swan sent it back saying the hose did not exactly match the barcode.
I think if a customer has a defective product and is willing to go through the steps that I went through to return the product you should honor the warranty. I mean I even bought a second hose from them something I will never do again.

I have owned 3- 50 foot sections this same type Swan heavy duty garden hose for 18 years now, use them every summer and have never had a problem with them. They have stayed soft and supple and they do not kink. I highly recommend this product. I will be ordering one more section for a new outside faucet that was recently installed.
