Not just for Scotch Jun 14, 2010
These glasses are wonderful for tasting and Scotch - that given, they are equally good for sipping any other whiskey or for that matter any other spirit that is good enough to be drunk 'neat'. This applies to cognac, armagnac, aged rums, top end tequila such as Cabo Wabo and any number of spirits. With these glasses you will be able to easily distinguish not only the good from the bad, but to taste the individual flavors that make the difference Evan Williams single barrel and Wild Turkey single barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbons.
Pleasant Surprise May 11, 2010
I was very doubtful when I bought these glasses but after trying them I am convinced they make a difference in taste and probably more so than, say, different shaped wine glasses. I found familiar scotches revealing unknown flavors and aromas.

I wasn't sure I believed my restaurant-owner/sommelier/friend when he recommended these, but they do make a difference in how you experience single malt scotches--especially the higher end products.

Wonderful Enhancement Oct 30, 2009
On a recent stay at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, I took part in a single malt scotch tasting sponsored by their Food and Beverage Department. The beverage director used glasses of this shape and size, and talked about how the shape of the glass can enhance the single malt experience. I was initially skeptical, but as soon as the tasting began I was convinced, and started looking to purchase a few for myself as soon as I returned home. I only rarely drink single malt scotch (too expensive) but I've found my enjoyment of those rare moments increased by 100% as a result of these glasses. They are pricey, but a wonderful way to help you enjoy your favorite single malt scotch, and I recommend them highly. Plus Amazon's prices were the best I could find when I purchased them.

These glasses bring out the complexity of your favorite Scotch. I can highly recommend these to any scotch drinker out there.
