Projection Clock Mar 14, 2010 This clock actually exceeded expectations. We previously had a projection clock for the bedroom that finally gave out. This model has larger, easier to read numbers at night overhead. If you never had a projection clock, you'll be spoiled forever. In addition, if the temperature display is too depressing, you instantly know to pull the covers up over your head longer. Love atomic clock accurate time.
Vampire clock Mar 08, 2010 Great at night when you can see the time and outside temperature displayed on the ceiling. Almost impossible to see during the day or when the lights are on. You have to press the snooze bar to make the time/temp viewable.
BATTERIES Mar 03, 2010 I have terrible vision (near sighted -4.75 contacts)and always had to reach for my glasses at night to see what time it was. You can adjust the arm of this clock to make the display as big as you need it. No need to reach for glasses anymore. The cons to this clock are that there is no radio, just the increasing beep (which we've gotten used to). I'm very disappointed that even though it plugs in, the clock runs on BATTERIES. The plug is only for the projection (which I didn't notice in the reviews until after we bought it). Overall, the clock is fine, but I'll still need to hold on to the old one as a back up. Wouldn't want to be late for work :-)
All I expected Feb 19, 2010 I have wanted something like this since I saw Tom Cruise (Mr. Cool) use it in a movie over a decade ago.
For someone losing their close-up vision and interested in the outside temperature, you've found one cool gadget.
Some complain about using a battery.... big deal. You plug in the power cord and the projection works like a dream which can be adjusted and focused about anywhere in the room. We DEFINITELY recommend! Enjoy
projection clockseecond purhase Feb 17, 2010 my old one burned out after a lot of years of faithful service.
It worked great so I bought another one. Great product
