Great tool Oct 10, 2009
I bought this a little bit ago. I finally used it this past week to plant 2 new shrubs in very hard and dry soil filled with chunks of clay, rocks, etc. It's great for breaking up chunks of clay and dirt when you're putting the dirt back into the hole.
The tool has a good grip, good solid weight to it, and made planting much easier. It's well-made and should last a long time. When I was done and hung it up in my shed, I thought to myself "I'm really glad that I bought this." I think you will feel the same way.
I bought mine here on Amazon, but also saw it and other OXO gardening tools at the huge green house where I bought the shrubs. They carry high quality plants and it was another vote of confidence that I bought a good tool after seeing it there.

This is a great hand held cultivator - strong so you can really dig out those weeds and loosen up the soil around a plant without tearing it out, longer than most so you don't have to reach as far, comfortable in the hand and easy to use without over using the back muscles. Definitely puts my old one to shame.

this cultivator has the signature OXO comfortable grip, a nice long handle, and the tines are positioned to make it easy to work around plants. I love it.
