Functions as intended with a little help Mar 26, 2009 This product is intended for throw rugs and accent rugs that are placed on top of carpeting. It is supposed to keep the throw rugs and accent rugs from slipping on the carpet. In our house, the rugs slip badly after only a few times of walking over them, with constant bending down to reposition them.
This nonslip rug pad sticks aggressively to the carpet, yet pulls up easily for repositioning.
However, the throw rugs and accent rugs slip on the "nonslip" pad. I ended up using double-sided carpet tape on the underside of the rugs, and that did the trick - no more slippage of the rugs on the carpeting.
This is the only product out there that I could find to keep throw rugs and accent rugs from slipping on carpeting.
