Out of stock | | | | | | Introduce a classic antique accent to your garden with this brass turtle sundial. An ideal way to draw attention to sunny corners of your flowerbed or garden path, the sundial is crafted from solid brass, which will age over time to a rich patina. The charming gaze of the stocky turtle perfectly complements the sundial face, with its Roman-numeral lettering and classic design. Some simple assembly is required, but it only takes a couple minutes. | | | | | |

Great Garden Decoration! Jun 24, 2008 I bought this for my grandmother, who keeps little animals like this in her garden. She loves it---she kept it inside in a planter all winter so people could see it and put it outside as soon as the snow melted. She points it out to me every time I visit!

Perfect for turtle enthusiasts! Dec 28, 2007 This is an exceedingly cute sundial in the shape of a turtle with his legs and head stretched out, obviously basking in the sun. The dial itself on his back is only about 3.5 inches in diameter, but that's okay. It will still work.
It's of brass construction with a greenish "aged" tinge that is very attractive. It's lightweight enough so that you won't have to pay a mint in shipping, yet it's sturdy. If you were to drop this on a concrete patio, it wouldn't break nor would your dog be able to bend it while chewing on it.
When you get it in the mail, you just have to screw on the gnomon (the sundial thingy that projects the shadow) and it's ready to be put out in your garden. A very charming piece. (The snail that is the companion piece looks cute, too!)

Review of Turtle Sundial May 18, 2000 As a lover of turtles this was perfect for me. Although it is very nice it isn't as heavy and as durable as I originally thought it would be. But I'm sure it will make the perfect addition to my garden.
