Love this watering wand...... May 28, 2008 I went through several types of watering wands until I finally spent the money to purchase a Gardena. This was over 6 years ago and it's still doing the same gentle watering as ever. Last year I had to replace the small spring that goes into the handle lever but that is all.
This sprayer is exactly the right length and weight and, like all Gardena products, it's comfortable to hold and use. The wand does, indeed, adjust the spray at the nozzle which also does screw off so you can clean the sprinkler seive of any debris. A great feature.
When they say ''soft spray'' they mean it. The spray is so gentle it never knocks over my flowers or even little baby seedlings when adjusted to it's finest spray.
After 6 years I certainly got my money's worth, but still working great so looks like I won't be needing a new one any time soon.

Surprise!! Sep 14, 2007 I was surprised at what I received for the money that I spent. The sprayer is just not worth the money paid. The head is not adjustable. My old unit cost half as much an is still a better sprayer with several stream adjustments.

Gardena rules Aug 20, 2002 Yes, it's very good, nice feel to it, like all Gardena stuff. I've had one go "out of tune" and no amount of fiddling with the works would make it go full volume again. The method of tying down the activation bar with a wire loop isn't as sturdy as it might be. Quibbles, I own one for every faucet. When they converted Eagle Hardware to Lowes they quit carrying Gardena. Just one more reason that every time I visit Lowes I wonder why I bothered.

Good But Others Better Jul 24, 2000 I've tested a bunch of watering tools and this one rates pretty well. But, finally settled on The "Waterquick" which actually does what it claims. It puts down maximum water without any blowback of dirt or debris. Also it protects fragile foliage from water damage. It's a new, hard to find tool locally but should be easily found online thru search engines.
