Garden Weasel Worked Great for Me! Jun 26, 2008 Garden Weasel
We had one in the past and really like how easy it made the job of re-claiming a garden area. We moved and lost it! Oh no! We looked at all the different stores, such as Home Depot, Lowe's and different garden stores and couldn't find one. Got on line and found one with Amazon. Yeah! Just recently used it and was impressed again with how well it works, even in a gravel walk way area.

Works Well on Clay Soil, if you Soak it First Mar 22, 2008 I live in a semi desert area of Sunny Southern California. My soil is Clay and Hard. I got this item to soften it up so that I can amend it. It doesn't tend to work unless you soak the dirt. I have no complaints about that as it is easy to do! I set the hose to a slow drip all day, then it breaks up the soil a few inches deep without too much effort! You could also use a soaker hose. Next step is to put down some compost into the broken up soil and mix it up. It should improve my soil soon. We used to use a small rototiller, the Mantis, previous to this but I like this better. Lighter to use for those of us with carpal tunnel (or elderly), and no gas needed. Great price!

Makes great BIG holes!!! Feb 05, 2008 "My neighbor asked me if I had a gopher problem...I told him no...they were made by a GARDEN WEASEL!!" This thing's great...but it makes big holes in the lawn that need to be back filled after you twist the weeds out. And depending on how much you use it...the claws may bend out of shape like they did on me. Make sure the area you work on is very moist for easy use. I did mine in the rain....

best weeder/cultivator I've ever used! Nov 12, 2007 This is absolutley the best weeder/cultivator I've ever used and I've tried them ALL!!! I'm pretty intense about weeding my flower/shrub beds and keeping them looking nice and the soil soft around them. I have 6 acres to maintain and most areas have beds. This little gadget made a 2-3 hr job of weeding just one flower bed to about 20-30 minutes even if I let it go till the weeds are getting out of hand. I'm a middle aged female and didn't have to exert any extraordinary effort. There's a bit of a learning curve (took maybe 4-5 tries) and then you're off to the races. It even pulls the weeds up for you!

So far so good! Oct 28, 2007 Bought this for my husband to use, I hate gardening. He hasn't complained yet. I think he likes it so far and it seems to work great for weeds, etc.
