The Fiskars PowerLever 15-inch easy reach bypass pruner is an ideal choice for pruning roses and other dense or thorny plants. The blade provides a cleaner cut for living green growth, and the unique low-profile design allows the user to safely reach into plants to prune. The additional reach also helps to prevent muscle strain, and the extended handle allows for one or two-handed use for added strength and comfort. In addition, the pruner features Fiskars' patented PowerLever technology--a patented four-point pivot design--which reduces cutting effort by 50-percent. The fully-hardened stainless steel blade is non-stick coated for smooth and clean cuts and can cut branches up to 3/4-inches in diameter.

Worlds best rose pruner Jul 09, 2007 One hand operation, plastic body, curved metal blades, leveraged "advantage". You can deadhead roses barehanded, even in the middle of the bush.
