Fireplace Hearth Safety Grate - 24"

Basic in design, this Cast Iron Safety Grate is exactly as it appears - it's to support your logs, provide the necessary air flow for optimal combustion, allow the ashes to fall, & to protect the floor of your firebox from excessive heat damage. And as this is cast as one piece, there is never a fear of broken welds or loosened bolts. Crafted in the US & composed of 1/2" thick Cast Iron. Finished a Semi-gloss Black. Measures 5 3/4" High x 24" Wide (19" at the rear) x 15" Deep. Holds the logs ~2 1/4" from the floor. There is ~1" of space between the individual Ribs of the Grate.
