Good Heat Insulation and Durability Feb 17, 2010 I wear these gloves to remove the grate and ash tray from my fireplace to dump the ashes. There are still glowing coals when I remove them and these gloves protect me from burns as long as I don't hold the grate or tray for an extended period of time.
A must have for infrared trukey fryer Feb 11, 2010 Great leather gloves.. If you have an infrared turkey fryer you know the top is HOT!! Great length..
Gloves worked great Jan 04, 2010 I used these gloves while frying a turkey. They were comfortable and kept me safe from the hot oil.
Comfortable and Effective Dec 04, 2008 I ordered these after seeing the America's Test Kitchen review in which they picked similar ones as their choice. These have worked great for handling hot grates and my cast-iron smoker box. The leather feels and looks great and I've found them very comfortable.

Not bad for the price Sep 15, 2008 These gloves work fine for handling hot grills as long as you make every effort to handle the hot metal for as short a time as possible. Get just a little careless and hold on for just a bit too long, and you'll get burned! I would have liked a bit more insulation, but still, for the money, these gloves aren't bad at all.
