Bad design Jul 03, 2009 I really dislike this watering can. The hole on the top is too small and set too far forward. Way too much water spills out the top, either while carrying or watering.
I have an older Rubbermaid watering can that is similar but has none of these design flaws. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find it again.
I'll give this product two stars because at least it has a removable head, which many do not.
Badly designed Jun 05, 2009 Because the handle is too far back, when you lift the can, it tips forward. This means that if the can's more than half full, water will come out as soon as you lift it, unless you use two hands.
Another design flaw is that the cap on the end of the stem isn't on very tight, so when you're watering, although most of the water squirts out almost horizontally, a fair amount also dribbles straight down.
If you don't mind filling it more frequently or having some water go where you don't want it, I guess this can's usable, but there are many better ones.

A Middling Can Jul 13, 2008 You get what you pay for most of the time. I bought this can cheaply but soon discovered that the handle's design is far from dynamic. Since the handle doesn't extend over the center of the can, it's by its very nature off center and imbalanced. Thus this can is difficult to carry with one hand, especially when it's full. Within a month of struggling with this off balance tool, I replaced it with one that actually has a dynamic design.
Look around before buying this one.

Handsome but could be better Jul 03, 2008 This is a visually appealing and well built watering can, but the handle does not extend far enough forward for good one-hand carrying balance.
