 Ripped After One Storm May 24, 2008
We bought this item with the intentions of using it on our dog's kennel. One other reviewer mentioned that this is what they had used the tarp for and it worked great. So we put the tarp up and it seemed to work great. It made the kennel nice and shady for our dog. Then after about 2 weeks There was a summer storm and during the storm at least three of the grommets ripped out. One was even a corner one with the extra black protector. This one was ripped out completely, black protector and all. It might be possible that our tarp was just defective but since there seems to be no way to get a refund or a replacement we will never know. I would not buy another one of these ever.

Was actually better than expected for the money. Appears as good or better than one I have that is 3 yrs old and still in use as a roof for a dog kennel.
Great UV resistant heavy duty tarp Sep 24, 2007
I bought this UV tarp to shade my tent at Burningman, the UV aspect worked very well at shielding the sun, also it survived some very strong dust storms; proving that it's very well constructed. I wouldn't spend too much time looking else where.

It is a quality tarp and feels heavy. It works great under our pool.
