I have a large windowed and doored room....even in Florida it was impossible to heat.

I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. We have a 100-year-old home, our den is an addition put on in 1929, and is over an uninsulated crawl space. Needless to say, the room is cold all the time. This little compact electric stove heats the whole room in minutes and even creates ambiance. I don't know how they make the flames look so realistic, but they really do look authentic. I have always wanted a fireplace in the room, but have been put off by the cost and the size of the room, it's just too small to add a large fireplace. This has been a great, practical solution and has made a very long and cold winter almost fun. I look forward to sitting in the den, clicking the remote and starting a "fire". We love it!
 Nice Stove, But Smaller & Cheaper One is Just as Effective Mar 06, 2010
I do like this stove, and it works very nicely. The remote control is convenient. I bought two of these when they were on sale for $125 and free shipping, and I would purchase them again at that price. However, I also have one of the smaller "compact" versions which actually seems to put out more heat than this one. The compact version has no remote control, but the controls are on the side and are easy to use.
In short, if I didn't have one of these stoves, I would buy the compact version (CS1205) for about $90 instead of this more expensive model. The compact version is extremely nice and sells for a great price.

Excellent electric fireplace. Easy to use and easy to move around. Our Family room is nice and toasty with this unit.
Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice space heater and do not want to spend the big bucks for a real one. This one will impress you.
COZY HEAT FOR NW FLORIDA WINTERS Mar 04, 2010
After receiving 2 months electric bills totaling $800, I bought
this nifty compact stove (on sale). It looks great, throws out
lost of heat (but not from the "fire" which is cold). It makes me
want to toast marshmallows, but that does not work. The only
problem is that our heat pump won't come on unless we turn
the thermostat way up, because the room gets so warm.
Recommended for supplementary heat in the deep South.
