We ordered this product to cover our pond this fall to keep the leaves out and protect our koi from the effects of the decomposing leaves. The product worked very well, my husband and I covered the pond in about 20 minutes and purchased steel stakes at a local farm store and used plastic ties to secure the net to the stakes. We took it down once the cold weather hit us because we did not want the snow and the ice to damage the net; we plan to install it again in the spring to help us deter our toddler from making a flying leap into the pond.
