 Quality of product questionable Nov 24, 2008
I've had this griddle/grill for 6 months. While overall the product is good, I am sorely disappointed in the non-stick covering. I hand wash after each usage, only use plastic utensils and store it so it doesn't come in contact with any sharp objects, but still the non-stick covering is coming off. I bought this to replace a cheap griddle that was scratched but we at least got 3-4 years of usage before that happened. For the money I spent on this, ($99 at the time I bought) I expected better quality.
Robust until busted Nov 24, 2008
My wife and I were very pleased with this unit during the time it worked, which was roughly two weeks. On the grill's last day we heard a cracking sound and found the control knob shattered and displaced, after hearing a "noise". It was easy to find a replacement controller on Amazon, right up there with the intact units that were being sold. Strange, because there were no other "replacement parts" on the page, just appliances in the whole. Does somebody know something, but isn't telling? I'm ordering the replacement controller (once) rather than trying to get them to replace the unit for free, but am suspicious at this point that they may have a known design flaw in the control unit, and are in the business of selling replacement controls. Time will tell.

Works great! Heats much more evenly than any other I have owned. Looks nice and feels substantial. We're very happy with it.

Super purchase, we are very impressed with it. We bought this for Sunday morning pancakes, so we could all sit together and have hot pancakes...works great. Super easy to clean, looks nice. Well worth the money. :)
