Stainless Cookware Dec 23, 2008 Needed to add this size to my other Cuisinart cookware and love it. Very good quality and cooks quickly and evenly.

Mfg price is phony Sep 16, 2008 Good pot, but Amazon is inflating manufacturer's price. This pot goes for $69.95 on Cuisinart site. So Amazon is nocking off $10, but is attempting to lead one to believe it is even more! Shame Amazon!
As always, Cuisinart delivers Aug 31, 2008 I have purchased almost the entire Cuisinart classic line, and purchased this saucepan for my daughter. As the pieces come on sale, I add to her collection, and mine if I don't already own it.
These products cook evenly and clean up the easiest of any cookware I have ever owned. Manufacturer instructions say you can put them in the dishwasher, but I prefer to wash them by hand which is a breeze. The exterior shine has stayed stellar in spite of repeatedly use and washings. I also own some pieces of a much more expensive stainless cookware set (ends with "clad").... and I find the Cuisinart to be as good in the cooking of food, and actually much better in the clean-up of the pot/pan.
I highly recommend this product.
Excellent value and quality Apr 22, 2008 This saucepan is the perfect complement to my Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Medium Dome Cover, when I am cooking a chicken or steak in the large pan (or my trusty 12" cast iron pan), I am usually making a sauce or boiling vegetables in this not-so-small saucepan. It is a truly versatile pan, I have used it to boil a few eggs, steam vegetables, melt chocolate, warm up left-over soup, make masala chai (it's easier than most people think and VERY tasty), or even bake a small cake in it! I can't possibly list them all, this is my second most used pan, a close second to my Lodge Logic 12" cast iron pan.
Don't be fooled by the price tag, this may be a cheap pan, but it is certainly not cheaply made. Handle is sturdy, and the lid fits tight, and it will stand up to 450 degrees of heat in the oven (from the manual, although I never pushed it to that extreme heat). It has a rather heavy bottom for heat retention, which is exactly what I want.
This is also a perfect pan for making a little one-person meal. I am a little embarrassed to admit, but I've made ramen noodles in this pan on some late nights.
Beginner or seasoned home cooks alike, I am sure you'll find this pan to be an excellent investment for your money.
Pros:
=====
- Well made
- Versatile (from sauce to dessert to tea making to a small lasagna)
- Well priced
- Can be nuked in the oven up to 450 degrees
Cons:
=====
- Stainless steel needs a little more care than non-stick cookware, and may colorize over time... but that's really just a general stainless steel cookware issue
Beautiful and durable Apr 14, 2008 Works like a charm if taken care of properly. Great product I hope to have to cook dinner for my grandchildren 30 years from now!
