Not just any nonstick, this finish is Quantanium, a high-quality, long-lasting finish internally reinforced with titanium. Little or no oil is needed for cooking on this ultra-smooth surface, and low to medium heat is recommended, along with non-metal utensils. An aluminum core encapsulated in the base conducts heat quickly and evenly without hotspots. All the lids are break-resistant glass, and the handles are also stainless steel, riveted for strength. Every piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F and dishwasher-safe. This 12-piece set of commonly used pots and pans makes a great starter set for the home chef. The three saucepans, holding 1, 2, and 3 quarts, take care of most boiling, warming, and steaming needs; the 8- and 10-inch skillets turn out perfect eggs, pancakes, and browned sausage; the 3-quart covered sauté pan is a good size for stir-fried vegetables, fried chicken, or braised beef; and the ever-popular 8-quart stockpot feeds the whole family with soup, chili, or corn-on-the-cob. All but the skillets come with lids. While dishwasher-safe, washing nonstick cookware by hand is recommended. Hello All. May I first say, that the Prime Trial for 30 days is quite worth trying since receiving items in 2 days is Great! Secondly, this is my 3rd set of Cuisinart pans (own Classic & adonized)& once again it has exceeded my expectations.
I cooked with it for the first time last night after the suggested washing & made spaghetti & meatballs. The meat did not stick at all & came out perfect. I usually also cook on medium heat & with these pans I had to turn it down askew because it uses less energy to cook more efficiently. Faster meals for a lower cost. How great is that?!
I'm not in any way an afficionado in the subject but I did notice that the bottom edge rims are curved outward with a much flatter base. Which in my opinion would mean that the heat is distributed evenly outward. Thus, creating not only a quicker heating service but also a faster method of cooking (as aformentioned in the previous paragraph).
Regarding the weight, they are a wee bit lighter than the adonized set but heavy enough to know that they're not cheapy. This is perfect for those who suffer from hand or wrist injuries. Speaking from experience myself, (I had to have my tendons repaired & the dainty bones in the wrist realigned with pins along with continuous occupational therapy to have 85% use of my right hand again) this set is not strenuous to carry as most pans are. However, as always please execute caution to prevent strain.
Lastly, I have a huge French Country pot rack which is perfect for displaying these beautiful pans. The finish is truly bright & you honestly can see yourself in them:) Merry Christmas everyone!

I really like this set and at the price I got it, it was a good bargain. You get a lot of pots and pans and they are very easy to clean.

Middle-of-the-road Price...Great Quality Set Nov 02, 2008
This is the second set of non-stick Cuisinart cookware we have pruchased over the years and, once again, the pieces within it have lived up to our high expectations!
Considering it's middle-of-the-road price the quality of the pieces seem exceptional. I great purchase for a growing family that includes plenty of cooks, but certainly not any chefs! Ha!

I bought this set last week and just received them on Wednesday. So far, I have been totally satisfied with the set. The non-stick coating works really well. The pots and pans are a good weight and are made very well. I am very glad that I bought this set.

This stainless steel cuisinart set is well worth the cost. It looks professional, great price, heats up quickly and nothing sticks. Delivery was fast, no shipping damages so why shop anywehere else? You have to admit that old clunky dark anodized stuff looks like you're flipping eggs with a buick. Step into the shiny stainless steel and you won't regret it. The handles have stayed cool to the touch to maybe warm. Not hot where you couldn't grab them. I'd buy another one without question.
