got it on time and for minimum shipping charges. we cant even begin to really tell you what a time saver this is! not only quick to cook, but makes everything flavorful and delicious! tried the cheese cake recipe and was amazed that something that usually took me hours to do was just as good in half the time! love the optional browning function for our meats before we turn it to pressure. makes everything soooo simple! dont know how we lived without it before now!!!

I really would recommend this product. I really love mine. You can fix any kind of food in a short time. I do not want to part with mine.

I have been leery of pressure cookers since one blew up on my dad 10 years ago--but fear no more. This one has a locking lid and is very clear when it is at full pressure and should not be opened. I saw this cooker demonstrated in a cooking class; it was described as a slow cooker on steroids. I purchased one that night and couldn't live without it now. It's not only fast and convenient, but the food tastes better than any other cooking method. Rice has the best texture I've ever had. I use it 3-4 times a week, and for some meals I wish I had two! I don't understand the poor ratings given on this product--it is so simple to use. Simply turn the lid to lock it in place, make sure the valve is set at the dot, select your time and press start. It will even keep food warm (automatically) without degrading the quality for several hours.

I recieved this unit and it worked great the first time, went to use it a few days later and it would not turn on at all. I love cuisinart products and have never had a problem before. So I returned it to Amazon and they immediately shipped me out a new one and when I unpacked the new one it had a huge dent on the side and had a strong chemical smell. After reading all the reviews many people are having issues with this unit and that affected my decision to not try another unit and I opted for a refund.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT SEVERAL TIME AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. IT IS EASY TO OPERATE AND CUTS THE COOKING TIME TO HALF OF WHAT IT USED TO TAKE ON THE STOVE.
