These are great little dishes, i really meant to order 4oz ramekins, but glad to have these. you can bake so many different recipes with the 7oz. ones.
 Exactly what I needed for Crème Brulée Dec 14, 2008
My better half loves Crème Brulée and Tiramisu. Since I've finally perfected making Tiramisu at home, I decided it was time to move onto the other. The recipe I planned on using called for 8 ounces Ramekins, but I figured these would work just fine. Although there are many brands out there I happen to like CorningWare, so it did make a difference in my purchase.
The recipe was time consuming and probably a bit more difficult that I had expected, but the end result was pretty good. I was wishing I had this item Typhoon Limousine Black Cook's Torch when it came time to caramelizing the sugar, because putting them under the broiler heated up the creme more than he prefers. I'm not completely satisfied with the recipe so I will continue to test them out. I'll also say that in reading everyone's reviews, I have so many more ideas in what I can use these for too!
I did pick these up on the 4-for-3 promotion, so keep that in mind when ordering because you can make a good deal even better.

These little ramekins are fantastic for individual servings of dessert, fruits, dips, etc. Just the perfect size and go into the oven or the microwave. I also use them on a candle warmer--put a votive candle in to melt and it fragrances the room.
No kitchen should be without these handy little bowls.

I was very pleased with my purchase of these ramekins. At 12 dollars I thought they were a good buy, and they stack which is nice. Not too much to say, but I'm pleased.

Perfect for my Christmas Creme Broulee. CorningWare just seems to be nicely made. We would like to find the covers for this size ramekin since it would help with transporting to family events. Pleased with these, just wish they could be cheaper. :)
