From Chicago Metallic, this set comes with all the essentials needed to make an elegant creme brulee dessert - everything, that is, but your ingredients. The set comes with an 8-in. square aluminized steel pan, four 6-oz. porcelain ramekins and a rack that fits inside the square pan. To use, place the rack inside the square pan, fill the pan with water then place your filled ramekins in the rack. Your dessert is then ready for the oven where it bakes gently in the hot water.

Brulee Pan works Dec 28, 2008
This pan works, but I also did some by filling just a regular pan with water and they seemed to cook much quicker so make sure to cook it long enough to set.

Ramekins rack and pan Dec 27, 2008
Product works great. The rack does suspend the ramekins in the water so the bottoms don't touch the pan and I am so glad the rack has handles to easily lift out the ramekins. It couldn't be any easier.

Purchased the Creme Brulee set over a month ago, made several batches of creme brulee. Came out great! Family loved it! Will be making more.

I purchased two sets, and use them a lot. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is that the dishes could be a little bigger. Over all, I am very happy with them.
