Aqua Cone Aqua Spike - Green - Set of 6 Automatic Plant Watering System

With Aqua Cones also known as Aqua Spikes you can create a super-efficient, super-easy automatic plant watering system using recycled soda bottles. Aqua cones (Aqua Spikes) automatic plant watering system fits one liter and two liter soda bottles (not included). Designed with multi-level punch-out holes so the gardener can compensate for sandy, loam or clay soil. Aqua cones (Aqua Spikes) automatic plant watering system comes in a set of six. For Gardens: Take six 2-liter soda bottles and cut 1 inch off the bottom of each bottle. Remove the caps and the rings from the neck of the bottle. Each Aqua Cone is labeled SAND, LOAM and CLAY. Use a nail to punch out the 2 holes that correspond to your soil type. Fill the AquaCones with clean sand to within 3/4" of the top. Screw one bottle into the neck of each Aqua Spike. Insert the assembled Aqua Spike/bottle in your garden soil as close to the plant as possible. Fill the bottle with water through the open bottom. For Hanging Baskets and Containers: Use six 12oz., 16oz. or 1 liter soda bottles. DO NOT CUT OFF THE BOTTOMS Remove the caps and rings from the necks of the bottles. Each Aqua Spike is labeled SAND, LOAM and CLAY. Use a nail to punch out the 2 holes at the CLAY level. Fill the bottles with water and screw one into the neck of each AquaCone. Insert the assembled Aqua Cone into your hanging basket or container, burying the cone up to the neck of the bottle. This product is not recommended for vacation watering. Made in the USA.
