This Hose King is the best hose reel I've ever had! It's main feature is that it is easily hung on the wall. If hanging out side, you can take the reel w/hose off for the winter months and leave the rest mounted. It's made of sturdy plastic and assembly instructions are clear and concise. This is my second Hose King, I'd still have the first if my wife hadn't run over it with her car!

I've used these reels for several years. They still work fine. I tried some other brands and the hose guide didn't work well and the whole thing broke easily. The Ames product cost almost double but is well worth it.
 Missing Screws Oct 17, 2009
Upon putting the hose reel together, we found that about 6 screws were missing. Luckily we had some lying around that happened to be the same size.
Other than that, it works great. It winds and unwinds easily and I'm even able to pull the hose out if I'm standing off to the side of the reel.

Really works well! The feeder places the hose exactly where you want it to go. And it doesn't get stuck at all. Very smooth.

Product is 2nd one we have had. It is a good product and works well, but difficult to assemble, as some of the parts were hard to fit together, even though the instructions were fairly well illustrated.
