Great Umbrella! Feb 06, 2010
I bought this umbrella for my parent's patio as a gift. They really wanted a little ambient light for eating, visiting, etc. and this umbrella is perfect! It arrived nicely boxed and in good condition. It fit well into their existing umbrella stand although they did have to shim around the hole of their table as it was a little larger than the circumference of the pole. The umbrella is stable and provides the light they were looking for. The additional ring of lights in the center gives them the option to provide even more light for cards or reading. Overall, a big hit!

I love this umbrella! The size is just right and the crank handle is easy to use. I would have preferred a dark green color but the sage is nice, unoffensive, and goes with just about everything. The solar lights are fabulous. You can choose to turn on the bigger center light or the lights on the spokes or both at once. A lot of umbrellas I looked at had either the center light or the spoke lights, not both. The switch is in a good location, easy to use. The packing is even good. We ordered one of these umbrellas before from another source but accidentally threw away the solar panel that goes on top of the umbrella. Lots of people must have missed the panel because the umbrella is now packaged with a big brightly colored warning paper telling you to look at the bottom of the box. The price is very competitive.

Great idea, but quality is not as high as it should be. We purchased two umbrellas and in the first one of the arms did not light, so returned it to Amazon for a replacement. Then, in the replacement one of the arms did not work but it was very apparent that a wire was not connected to the solar panel. Atleast Amazon is great about replacing items that are defective as I cannot imagine it would be easy to get help from an organization that clearly does not check what they ship.

The product is garbage. The tilt mechanism is cheaply made, causing the umbrella to tilt on its own. I am going to have to come up with an idea to keep the darn thing from tilting and hitting someone in the head. I should have known better than to buy something made in China.

Nice umbrella but only the center hub lights worked. The lights on the six arms didn't work. I called the manufacturer's customer service department as recommended in the included paperwork only to have to leave a message as there was no live customer service agent. My call was returned ONE week later and I was told to return the item to the place of purchase. In the meantime, the shipping box had been discarded so I had no way to return the umbrella. Still have the umbrella. Nice looking if you don't mind the lights not working.
