Beware this umbrella May 10, 2008
The day we set up this umbrella, a small wind took it on a spin and smashed the solar panel. Undaunted, we replaced the panel, re-anchored the umbrella and set it up again, and the exact same thing happened. Because it is so wide (10 feet) the wind just lifts it up and carries it away, and unfortunately, the solar panel is very sensitive and gets the brunt of it. I love this umbrella, but the second wind ruined it, and it was a very expensive lesson. Either buy something to anchor it very securely, or go back to an 8 ft. umbrella.
